Can you cut the band down in size?

A:

No.  Ten is the minimum number of musicians needed to achieve the quality, sound and the variety which we provide.  Cutting the band down in size would be like using plastic table wear and paper table cloths at a formal dinner!

Yes. Much of time we start with a four (4) piece group and play light jazz and popular songs from Gershwin, Porter, Rogers, Hart, Carmichael.

Yes, we will honor any and all requests if it is in our repetoire.  If we do not already play your song, we'll be happy to play a recording on our break.

A:

We need a minimum area 16’ across by 12’ deep. We prefer to have 20’ across by 16’ deep.

A:

Yes

Will you provide MC services?

A:

Yes, or you may provide you own mc and use our sound system.

Q:

When does the band take a break?

A:

The band will take a 10 minute break after the first hour and then each 50 minutes.  We try to time breaks with the ‘natural flow of the event’. Such as during toasts, cake cutting, speeches, etc.

Q:

How do you choose which music to play?

A:

In most cases, we ‘read the crowd’.  If people respond to a particular style of music, we usually stay with that style of music. If you request us to play only certain songs or types of music, that is what we’ll play.
